Veterans Day on the Hill Pre-rally Lunch (free) at 10:30 am, March 20th, at the St. Paul Armory (600 Cedar St., St. Paul, MN 55101). At 12:45 Veterans March to the rally (line-up at the Minnesota Veterans Bldg, 20 West 12st St., St. Paul, MN 55101). Based on the number of DAV members interested in participating, we may or may not have a bus. Call the Chapter Adjutant, Scott Berndt, if you plan on attending.

MN DAV Chapter 39 and Auxiliary Unit 39 Grocery Bagging Fund Raiser in Andover at County Market Dollar Days, Wed. March 20, 2019 from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Proceeds support local Veterans.

MN DAV Chapter 39 announces nominations are open for Chapter Officers at the March 14, 2019 meeting held at the VFW, 1919 Coon Rapids Blvd., Coon Rapids, MN 55433. Elections will be held at the April 11th meeting. Any member in good standing can run for a Chapter line officer. Meetings start at 6:30 PM.

Happy Holidays… Here’s to our Veterans!

Holiday Achievement Awards Dinner on Dec. 13 recognized two sponsors of the 2018 Golf Tournament along with MN DAV Unit 39 and Chapter 39 member significant achievement awards.  Following a holiday dinner buffet served by the Coon Rapids VFW, where MN DAV Chapter 39 and Unit 39 meet the third Thursday of each month beginning at 6:30 pm, Marty Kampa, chapter commander, and Scott Berndt, adjutant, thank all the members for a successful year in supporting area veterans and veteran families.

DAV Auxiliary Unit 39 returns to Anoka County Courthouse filling the lobby entry with Holiday Crafts and Baked Goods this Friday, Dec. 14, 2018 from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm. Proceeds from the sale, as well as other fund-raising events throughout the year, support Veterans now residing in nursing homes. MN DAV Anoka Chapter 39 and DAVA Unit 39 members deliver holiday gifts making the Christmas season a little brighter for our Veterans.
