Today, on 10 November, Marines celebrate the founding of the Marine Corps 247 years ago. Not the case for our Chapter webmaster, as he’ll be spending the day at the Minneapolis VA Medical Center to resolve some post-op issues. He confirmed, however, that he WILL be celebrating tomorrow, on Veterans Day, by participating for a third year in the DAV 5K Ken Plant – Fundraising For Disabled American Veterans (dav.org)
MN DAV Chapter 39 and Auxiliary Unit 39 will conduct their final meetings this year on Thurs., Nov. 10, at 6:30 PM in the meeting rooms of the VFW, 1919 Coon Rapids Blvd., Coon Rapids, MN 55433.
